This division is carrying out an integrated cargo and handling operation at almost all the ports in the Kingdom

Since the port authorities have started the privatization of the port services the following contracts have been awarded to the Globe on 10 Years basis:

Jeddah Islamic port:

Globe has undertaken and executed different cargo handling and stevedoring projects in Jeddah Islamic Port. It also has and still undertaking specialized cargo handling projects of which the RoRo and Container Terminal is the most important project.

In addition to the core business of the RORO project, Globe is contributing in modernization and upgrading of the Port’s facilities, installation and equipments investing huge amounts of money and considerable range of expertise.

STEVEDORING PROJECT:

Provision of stevedoring and cargo handling services cargo in the north terminal of Jeddah Islamic Port.

King Fahd industrial port, Yanbu

Provision of Integrated cargo handling (stevedoring) operation.

Riyadh dry port

Apart from the services that Globe provides to Seaports, Globe has undertaken execution of different project terms for the interest of the Saudi Railways General Organization and has successfully completed 9 years providing management, operations and maintenance services to the Dry Port in Riyadh and the facilities related thereto in Dammam. By the first quarter of the year 2008 this project will be undertaken by Globe for 12 years, which is to be considered as a national record for operating this vital facility.
