Globe container terminals

This division has its own container terminals at Dammam, Jubail and Jeddah, extending the following services to the various shipping lines:

• Handling and delivery of full containers to the respective consignees, which is shipped on the "door to door" basis.
• Providing handling and storage facilities for our clients, both for the import and export containers.
• Haulage of containers to and from the consignees' warehouses to the Globe.
• Terminal and ultimate delivery to port for shipment.
• Stripping and re-stuffing of the containers.
• Cleaning and repairing of containers.

The Globe container terminal, Dammam

The terminal of 100,000 sq. meters is located at about 1.5 km from Dammam port and has a fleet of 185 tractor heads, 300 trailers/chassis of 20'/40'/45', 2 hyster to loaders, one unit of lancing lines, one unite of preader, one unit of due truck to loader, due truck empty container, cranes, forklifts etc.

Globe container terminal, Jeddah / Yanbu

The terminal of about 10,000 sq. meters of storage facilities is located near the Jeddah industrial area and has a fleet of 40 tractor heads, 80 trailers/chassis of 20'/40'/45', and other necessary top loaders, forklifts, cranes etc.

The terminal of about 32,000 sq. meters is located in new Industrial city of Jubail and has a fleet of 40 tractor heads, 60 trailers of 40'/45', cranes, forklifts, etc.

During the gulf crisis, Globe Container Terminal carried out the following services:

• The medicine and foodstuffs in containers were handled from port to the terminal cargo stripped out from the containers and was delivered to different destinations as per the U.S. military's requirements.
• Our equipment like cranes, forklifts, trucks & trailers were rented to the U.S. military's uses.
• The part of our terminal was rented to the U.S. military's vehicles, stuffed into the containers and transported to the port for the re-export.
